Continuing Education Opportunities

OHABA is an approved provider of continuing education for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and the Ohio State Board of Psychology.  CE’s are often free for members.

 Networking Opportunities

OHABA offers members the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss job leads, and share the results of research and practice efforts.

 Various Workshop Opportunities

OHABA provides opportunities to expand and enhance knowledge and skills about the science and/or practice of behavior analysis.

OHABA provides updates on changes affecting the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis.

BECOMING A MEMBER OF OHABA

Any person interested or actively engaged in any area of behavior analysis can be a member of OHABA. OHABA has three classes of membership: Full Members, Affiliate Members, and Student Members.

Full Member: An individual is eligible to be a Full Member of OHABA if they are member of ABAI, are certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB), or are certified by the state of Ohio as a behavior analyst (e.g. COBA).

Affiliate Member: An individual who does not meet the criteria for Full and/or Student member status. Affiliate members are able to vote in elections and full benefits given to the Full Members (e.g. workshop attendance, discounts, etc.). Affiliate Members are not able to hold office on the Board.

Student Member: An individual classified as a student in a program of study leading to a degree in Behavior Analysis or a related discipline, and/or enrolled in a BACB-approved program to meet course requirements for BACB certification. Verification of student status must be provided by an administrator or faculty member of the program in which the student is enrolled or a screenshot of registration in a class.  After completing the membership application, please send and email membership@ohaba.org with your student verification.  Student members shall vote only for a student office(s) during elections.

You can pay for your membership online through Paypal.  There will be no processing fees.
